Christmas Eve

Jenny there are lot's of pictures just for you.)
My family gets together each year on Christmas Eve and each year we have something different to eat. One year everything had to be from a fast food restaurant, one year it had to be bought with a coupon one year was Chinese food, one year was soups... you get the point. This year since my nephews David who has been on a mission for the last two years and Adam who has been in Spain for the last three years were home my mom decided we needed a real Christmas Dinner. It was yummmy. I love ham and all the other yummy traditional food so it was a great idea to me.

It was fun to have Lisa home from B.Y.U. and Brandon from New York.

We were also excited to have Carmen, Adam's girlfriend,

who made this traditonal Spanish food, I really liked it, and also

Beth's neice's Tabitha and Jill.

The only person missing this year was Jenny who is teaching English in Japan and went to Korea for Christmas.

Scott was holding Hunter, when Hunter started to spit up just a small amount of his formula. Scott cleaned it up with a Kleenex and quickly went outside and it wasn't a very pretty site. We have decided it might be best if Scott adopts his kids when they are older.

We always draw names but a couple of years ago we added "Dirty Santa" and everyone loved it so much that we decided to let the younger ones draw names and everyone else could play "Dirty Santa". Even the younger kids wanted to play. It was so much fun and who would have thought Adam's old luggage and a poker set could cause so much "fun" contention. David got exactly what he needed for his hair, wire brushes and a relaxer kit. Nicholas traded fireworks for the pink slippers. John got a can of Spam (his very favorite thing) and I got a 10lb. box of chocolate with a huge Hershey's Chocolate Bar that say Merry Christmas Morely Brothers.

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Santa which was a good thing because Gavin actually sat on his lap and didn't cry. I just wasn't quick enough with the camera to get the picture of him smiling but he did. We all took turns telling Santa what we want and can't wait to make the family calendar.

Nicholas got Kristina's name and was so excited he made her a hat that she can put on so Bruce won't be able to read her mind anymore. He also got her the new Fallout Boy CD.
James got the best gift of the evening. He loves the movie A Christmas Story and each year on Christmas Eve we some how find our way to talking about the movie. One year James said he wanted a bunny suit and he would so wear it. Well wishes come true thanks to Lorraine.

After all the presents were traded and the food was eaten we came home to open our annual pajama's so that we look good in our pictures on Christmas morning. This quickly turned into a lot of fun...

Just for fun Nicholas took this picture. Only in John's dreams. It might be our Christmas card next year.
Finally the pajama's are on and time for a quick picture. Now off to bed to see what Santa brings.

This is great!!

Why Clayfrog?

A long time ago (our future animal rights activist who was 3 at the time) found a family of frogs in the clay and decided that was a good name for us because we would save all the frogs.
