Food and Fun of the Last Month

Over the last month we have been blessed with an abundance of certain items. I can now say that I have a freezer full. Please don't let the power go out. After getting a case of banana's,two flats of strawberry's, two bags of kiwi's and 6 papaya's we can have smoothies forever.

My Aunt's famous recipe for strawberry freezer jam.

I never knew the recipe was on the box.

We also got a case of cucumbers, a box of zuchinni and yellow squash and peppers.

Today I used the last of the cucumbers to make pickles!

And we haven't even gotten to the gardening season. At least all the rain is making the corn, beans, tomato's and squash grow in my dad's garden. Can't wait to see the watermelon!

I was laying in bed one morning and looked out my door to my back porch to find this. Good thing Mackenzie was as school or he would be our pet. One of my mother's day gifts. Thanks Mackenzie.

Why Clayfrog?

A long time ago (our future animal rights activist who was 3 at the time) found a family of frogs in the clay and decided that was a good name for us because we would save all the frogs.
