Why Clayfrog?

I have decided to join the world of blogging. It has only taken me about two years to join with my friends in this method of journaling. I actually set up a blog a couple of years ago but I have no idea what my password was and I don't even remember the name. This has come only after my sister-in-law Beth decided to set up a family blog so that we could all keep in touch due to family living all around the world. I love that she is doing this and I love seeing the beautiful job she is doing. I went to post a comment and couldn't figure out how to do it without setting up my own information.I tried to think of a name that would be cute and original but after 2 weeks I still had nothing. I asked John who reads nonstop to be creative and come up with something that would make me look very smart. He came up with "The Ponz Place" but since I don't wear leather I wasn't impressed. He then said well there is always "Clayfrog". This was the name of a website we set up several years ago. Of course this name was chosen by our youngest daughter who was 3 at the time. Nothing like using a 3 year olds wisdom to make such a decision. We live in Georgia, have lots of clay and frogs. That day she had found a frog covered in clay; hence the name "Clayfrog".

Why Clayfrog?

A long time ago (our future animal rights activist who was 3 at the time) found a family of frogs in the clay and decided that was a good name for us because we would save all the frogs.
