Mackenzie's First Concert

Tonight Mackenzie had her first public "Tempo's" concert. It was for Founder's Day in the little town we live in. There will be a parade, carnival and fireworks this weekend so I will post those pictures soon. She was very excited to preform. We were surprised that she wanted to join Tempo's but we were very proud of her.

We all went to watch because to be honest we thought this may be her one and only performance. She seemed to have a good time. More so before and after than during as you can see from the pictures but it was a fun time.

Before

During

After

The Concert was a variety of songs. Mostly patriotic. There was one very updated version of She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain. It involved chocolate pizza and a sports car.

They sang "You're a Grand Old Flag"

They rapped to the Pledge of Alligence. (That was a new one for us - Hope Kristina got that on video.)

They sang Fifty Nifty United States and then we got to sing with them. This was John's favorite part becasue we got to sing it twice.

and of course Georgia was the best state.

I can't tell if Aiden was impressed or not. Looks more like he is thinking, Tell me again why we had to come here?

We were lucky to have Deven and Kristina there to support her and that is probably why she did so well she wanted to impress Deven.

This looks like a great show! I love kids' chorus concerts, they're always entertaining. Amy just finished Twilight too - she loved it! Can't wait for the movie!

I remember singing this song when I was in Elementary school. I still remember it today. Tell, MacKenzie it will help her when she takes her states and capitals test :c).

Why Clayfrog?

A long time ago (our future animal rights activist who was 3 at the time) found a family of frogs in the clay and decided that was a good name for us because we would save all the frogs.
